A good secondary for basically anything is Monk so that you can self-heal and it gives you a hard (resuable) res as opposed to being forced to use Resurrection Signets. Mesmer fits in very well to a Necro as well as they both involve statuses and hexes. If you've never played before I would highly say get a Monk secondary for your own benefit as you learn how to play, plus being able to revive retarded henchmen always comes in handy.
ArenaNet(Makers of the popular game MMORPG/CORPG "Guild Wars" recently hitting the one-million sales mark), showed great potential with their staff, knowledge, and design elements. They have no monthly fee to play their game online as of now. The game costs around fifty dollars(USA currency). The product for a long part, was great. They updated, gave special events, were active in the community, etc. Some of that changed on November 10, 2005 around 9:00PM EST, USA. The game was represented as a great RPG/PVP game a lot like other games such as World of Warcraft, But also had it's own unique features. Until this update, things were great. There were the occasional group of people who didn't like something about it, But overall things were fine. Within a few minutes of the update going live, people were already starting threads on various forums with complaints. As of now 6:54 PM, EST; The popular site: www.gwonline.net has 559 posts with 31,343 views, Most being negative. When you walk into the store, You pick up the game, and you open the front and back covers; The game represents itself completely different than it is now. Players of the PVE area who have spent many hours leveling up, unlocking items, enjoying the game pretty much are upset now. A lot of the builds such as Fire Elementalists, Monks, and Warriors are completely different in their abilities, Making the game not as represented at purchase. Also on a forum, Gaile; a "Community Relations employee of ArenaNet contridicts herself as to why the update was put in place, and also basically tells everyone to deal with it .To change people's characters they have worked long and hard on, rendering them ineffective as they were made, is unfair. That makes people think. If Guild Wars hit the one-million mark before this terrible update and have complaints about the game worse than ever before; That leads me to believe something is not right.
Guild Wars: Class #1 is the story of a Ranger named Aeroth Aerobrandt as he delves into the world of Guild Wars and discovers strange new things like attributes and quest logs.
Guided by loads of text, the viewer is introduced to the very basics of Guild Wars gameplay, yet it's done in a story-like manner.
With some effects and a fair amount of syncing, the movie should remain interesting - while also quite informative.
The idea came as I created a new character and saw dozens of newbies asking the same questions over and over again, I figured a movie like this might help at least some of them to understand the basics - or it might relieve the stress from our shoulders of continually having to explain how to craft armors and the like... experienced players can just provide a link to this movie and newbies with questions will see a fair amount of them answered in just 9 minutes of their time.
This is the first installment, I want to see what people think of it before going on with class #2. If this turns out to be a succes, expect a class #2, introducing you to the PvP Arena's and PvE Missions, soon.
